Digital marketing has been a vastly growing area of investment. It is expected that the digital marketing spend in 2014 will be an average of 11% of all company’s marketing budget. But the real shock is that this is up from 2.5% on 2010! In just 4 years there has been a massive growth towards online targeting rather than real world marketing.
But as always it is down to each firm to work out how much emphasis they put on digital marketing. Some firms will see massive growth from it and some should not. The world is becoming more and more integrated with their online selves so maybe it is best you don’t get left behind!
